Our Team
BRUSFA KC Futsal Club was founded by Coach Gui Gomes, Coach Andre Braithwaite and Rosacarla Salanoa with the support of Luiz Claudio Evangelista- Founder on the first BRUSFA in Chicago, IL.
Specializing in futsal is dedicates to helping players develop exceptional foot skills quick thinking and creativity. The club emphasizes creativity, training players in futsal techniques while encouraging them to become creators of amazing plays. Our Story
Our BRUSFA KC manager was on a quest to find a futsal team for her daughters, driven by her Brazilian roots and a desire to connect with the foundation of soccer in the Kansas City area. It quickly became apparent that there were no dedicated futsal clubs in the region.
By chance, she met Luiz Claudio Evangelista at the Futsal National Championship in July 2022. Hearing him speak Portuguese sparked a conversation about futsal in KC. Little did she know, she was sharing her frustration about the lack of futsal-only clubs in the KC metro area with a futsal coach, club owner, and former professional Brazilian soccer player from Santos FC. Luiz Claudio Evangelista is the founder of BRUSFA in the US, based in Chicago.
A former volleyball player and coach with no experience in coaching futsal, our manager knew exactly who had the passion, player's best interested in mind and heart, love for the game, and great experience with the sport: Coach Gui Gomes and Andre Braithwaite. The perfect coaches for BRUSFA KC!
